A Private Advisory for Land Owners

Bring glamping to your land

Turn a good idea into a grounded, viable plan — with guidance from someone who has actually done it.

I’ve built a successful glamping destination in Ontario and regularly guide projects through zoning and approvals. I’m now opening one private advisory spot for someone ready to explore glamping thoughtfully, legally, and with clarity.

A Private Glamping Advisory — Ontario

You don’t need more opinions.
You need clarity from someone who has actually done this AND understands the system behind it.

Over the past few years, we’ve built Homegrown Hideaway from a family property into a successful glamping and experiential tourism destination in Ontario. That journey included zoning questions, approvals, infrastructure decisions, guest experience design, and learning where to invest (and where not to).

Alongside this, I bring a professional background in architecture and approvals, regularly helping clients navigate zoning, site constraints, and municipal processes.

I see many people online asking the same questions we once asked:

  • Can I do glamping on my land?

  • What approvals will I need?

  • What should I build first?

  • Will this actually work long term?

Because of that, I’m opening one private advisory spot to help someone thoughtfully bring glamping to their space from early feasibility through to approvals, if they choose to proceed.

This is not a course.
This is not a template.
This is hands-on guidance from someone who understands both the vision and the process.

What This Advisory Is

This is a focused, strategic advisory experience designed to help you decide, and move forward, with confidence.

Together, we’ll look at:

  • Your land and its physical constraints

  • Your vision, goals, and values

  • Ontario & municipal-specific zoning and approval considerations

  • What scale and type of glamping fits your site

  • Where approvals may be required (and where they may not)

  • What to do first, and what not to spend money on yet

My role is to help you see the full picture early, so you can avoid costly missteps and make informed decisions before committing time, money, or energy.

This Is For You If:

  • You own land, or are seriously considering a property you control

  • You want to add glamping as a long-term, values-aligned business

  • You care about doing this properly — legally, responsibly, and intentionally

  • You want guidance that balances creativity with real-world constraints

  • You’d like the option to continue into approvals with someone who already understands your project

This Is Not For You If:

  • You’re still casually dreaming with no clear intent

  • You want a copy-and-paste model or quick shortcut

  • You’re looking to bypass approvals or ignore local context

  • You want reassurance without action

What You’ll Walk Away With

By the end of this advisory, you will:

  • Know whether glamping is viable on your land

  • Understand key zoning, site, and approval considerations

  • Have clarity on scale, concept, and next steps

  • Know what to prioritize, and what to hold off on

  • Feel grounded in whether (and how) to move forward

For many people, this clarity alone saves months (or years) of uncertainty.

Beyond the Advisory (Optional)

If you decide to proceed after the advisory, I can also support you through:

  • Zoning and approvals strategy

  • Early design and site planning

  • Navigating municipal processes

  • Coordinating next steps toward implementation

There is no obligation to continue. The advisory stands on its own.
This option simply allows for continuity if the fit is right.

How It Works

  1. A structured initial conversation to understand your land and goals
  2. A tailored follow-up deep dive based on your specific situation
  3. Clear, practical guidance grounded in lived experience and professional practice

This is a private advisory, offered to one person at a time, so the process stays thoughtful and intentional.

I am opening one spot at this time.

If this feels aligned, reach out with:

  • A brief description of your property

  • Where you are in the process

  • What you’re hoping glamping could become

If it’s a good fit, I’ll invite you into a conversation, and in the mean time send you my 7 Step Guide to Getting It Right The First Time. Look for it in your email. (You may have to add caroline@cjagerdesign.com to your contact list)

Final Note

Glamping done well isn’t about trends or tents.
It’s about land, intention, and navigating the path thoughtfully.

If you’re ready to explore that with clarity and care, I’d love to talk.
