Available to rent: the heritage barn, meadow and riverside grounds, and event tent. Glamping tents are available as accommodation for multi-day bookings.
Venue FAQ's
What's the difference between your wedding packages?
Our Stay & Celebrate packages include venue rental, overnight stays and in some cases full service packages (Elopement and intimate packages) The weekend wedding experience gives you full, exclusive access to the property and all the amenities for two full days. Other venue rentals include hourly, full day and two day rentals. Add on’s can include things like champagne toast after ceremony.
Is overnight accommodation included, or booked separately?
Stay & Celebrate packages include on-site glamping as part of the package. Venue Access packages are venue-only; guests can book an overnight stay separately through our accommodations page, subject to availability. Overnight lodging runs May long weekend through Thanksgiving weekend only.
What's the maximum guest count, and can a package be customized?
Our packages accommodate from the smallest, most intimate ceremonies through to the 150 guest wedding weekend experience. For larger ceremonies we can accommodate up to 200 guests for ceremony only.
What's the rain plan if we're planning an outdoor ceremony?
Being an outdoor facility, the weather can change plans unexpectedly. Party tents are used for larger events. Smaller ceremonies can often be moved into the barn if needed.
Are tables, chairs, and other rental items included?
We work closely with Valley Event Rentals for any rentals included in your packages. Additional rentals can be coordinated through us, or directly with your vendor of choice.
Can we bring our own vendors, or do you have preferred ones?
We’re building out a preferred vendor network and would be happy to share our favourite vendors with you. You are welcome to bring in your own vendors.
Is alcohol permitted, and are there noise or curfew restrictions?
Bring your own liquor licenses, liability insurance and bar service when you host your event at Homegrown Hideaway. As a courtesy to our neighbours all amplified audio is to be off my 11:00pm in accordance with local by-laws.
What do we need to book, and what's your cancellation policy?
50% deposit and a signed contract are required to secure your date. The deposit is non refundable, but is transferable in the case you have to cancel. The remaining fees are due one month prior to your event.
Is there parking and restroom facilities on-site?
Parking is available on site. Washroom facilities are provided with portable units at the barn, glamping washrooms in the field with additional portable units for larger events.
