The terms, conditions, booking policy, cancellation policy, payment information, and house rules for Homegrown Hideaway are listed below. When booking your stay at Homegrown Hideaway, you confirm your agreement to the following terms, policies, and conditions. 

Summer Concert Series Tickets

All sales are final and attendee request for a refund will not be given. In the event Homegrown Hideaway has to cancel the event, full refunds will be given.

If the event is canceled: no action is required to obtain a refund; we will issue a refund to the original method of payment used at time of purchase

Pre-Paid Gift Cards

Pre-Paid Gift Cards may be redeemed for overnight accommodation bookings at Homegrown Hideaway. Lost or Stolen Gift cards will not be replaced without proof of purchase. They may not be exchanged for cash value. 

Information provided when purchasing Gift Cards is subject to our privacy policy. 

Check-in & Check-out

Your tent will be available from 3:00 p.m. onward on the date of your arrival.

You must vacate your room by 10:00 a.m. on the day of your departure. Failure to do so may result in being charged for an additional night at Homegrown Hideaway.

Early/Late Check-in & Check-out

You will be given the option to request special check-in/check-out accommodations when booking.

Early Check-in: Check-in time is at 3:00 p.m. You may request an early check-in at the time of booking. We will notify you whether we can accommodate your early check-in request. We do not offer early check-ins if it conflicts with a prior booking.

Late Check-in: Please contact us if you will not be arriving until after 7:00 p.m. We will notify you whether we can accommodate your late check-in request.

Late Check-out: Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. You may request a late check-out at the time of booking. We will notify you whether we can accommodate your late check-out request. We do not offer late check-outs if a private function is taking place.

Children & Pets

Homegrown Hideaway is a family glampground. Children under the age of 18 are welcome with adult supervision.

Due to potential allergies and in respect for local wildlife on the property, we are unable to accommodate your pets at this time. No pets are allowed (with the exception of service animals). 


Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside any tents or buildings at Homegrown Hideaway. We ask you to be respectful and dispose of all smoking paraphernalia responsibly in fire pits or designated sand buckets where available.

If guests are caught smoking inside tents or buildings, they will be charged a $500 fine. If there is additional damage (such as burn marks) from smoking inside tents or buildings, an additional charge will apply. These fines are in place to cover the cost for professional cleaning or smoke removal.

Accommodations & Facilities

The facilities at Homegrown Hideaway are not open to the general public. To access and use the facilities, guests must place a booking and stay at Homegrown Hideaway’s accommodations.

Guests acknowledge that they understand what is included in their stay at Homegrown Hideaway, and that they will be vacationing in a rustic and rural setting.

Pets (with the exclusion of guide dogs) are not permitted on the grounds.

Homegrown Hideaway reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of the guests, who must take all steps necessary for corrective action as requested by Homegrown Hideaway. In the event of failure to comply with management’s request, we may terminate a booking or function immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation.

Homegrown Hideaway will do its best to ensure that all facilities listed on our website will be available during your stay. However, we cannot guarantee that they will be available as maintenance and other work may be necessary from time to time.

Guests are encouraged to lock valuable items in their vehicle at all times unattended. Guests should take note that Homegrown Hideaway does not accept responsibility whatsoever for theft of your personal items from the premises or from glamping suites.

Damages & Theft

Guests will be responsible for any damage caused to tents or property. This includes the tents themselves, furnishings, linens, utensils and equipment therein. The guest will pay Homegrown Hideaway the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, Homegrown Hideaway reserves the right to invoice the guest who will pay for the damages via credit card, e-transfer or cheque.

Homegrown Hideaway reserves the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from facilities or accommodations by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item and will be paid via credit card, e-transfer or cheque at the request of Homegrown Hideaway.


Guests acknowledge that Homegrown Hideaway is situated in a natural, wooded, wilderness setting. With that comes some risk.

Homegrown Hideaway cannot and will not be held responsible or liable for any injuries or accidents sustained by the wilderness (including contact with poison ivy, poison oak, poison plants of any kind, ticks, bug bites, or wildlife interactions of any kind).

Booking Policy

Your booking will be automatically confirmed upon payment. Once confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email from Homegrown Hideaway.

Your payment does not create a contract. If Homegrown Hideaway decides to decline your booking, you will be promptly notified and refunded. Reasons that we may decline a booking include system errors or overlapping events. We reserve the right to deny bookings as necessary.

You must be at least 18 years of age to book at Homegrown Hideaway. Individuals younger than 18 years of age must have adult supervision.

Cancellation Policy

As a family-run business, last-minute cancellations and no-shows negatively impact our business. For this reason, we have a deposit and cancellation policy in place.

We require payment in full upon booking. In the case of cancellation within 5 days of your check in date, you will receive a full refund. In the case of cancellation with less than 5 days notice, no refund will be provided. In the case of a no-show, no refund will be provided.

We understand that emergencies happen. If you are cancelling due to a family emergency, please contact us to discuss your options.


All prices listed on the website do not include HST. Taxes are applicable on all bookings, add-ons, and services. An itemized receipt will be provided upon booking.

Prices listed for accommodations are per unit, per night, and do not include HST. Food/drink baskets and additional services are available at an additional cost. Food and drink are not included in the price of your stay.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express via our secure Stripe credit card payment portal. We also accept payment by EFT or e-transfer.

Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

House Rules

  • We are a family and kid-friendly facility. No excessive or disruptive noise after 10:00 p.m. Please respect your neighbours.

  • No pets allowed (except service animals)

  • No smoking inside tents and buildings

  • Respect others’ privacy in all spaces

  • Campfires are allowed in provided fire pits only, as long as there is no county-wide fire ban. No bonfires are permitted outside of assigned fire pits.

  • Campfires are to be safely extinguished when not supervised.

  • Protect your personal valuables and belongings by locking them in a safe or your vehicle.
  • Parking outside of assigned parking areas is not allowed.

  • The speed limit for vehicles driving through the property is 20km/hr.

  • You are responsible for the cleanliness of your site. Please dispose of garbage in receptacles provided.

  • Please don’t feed the wildlife. Do not leave food unattended or out overnight. 

  • Guests who do not follow these house rules, or guests who disturb the peace, may be asked to leave the premises without refund.
