The Homegrown Hideaway Songwriters Rounds gathers songwriters from surrounding communities and brings them together for an intimate concert with heartfelt storytelling.
Curated by Nolan Gibson, the goal is to gather a unique mix of artists and perspectives all under one roof, and provide a quiet listening experience for the audience and performers alike. Each round four songwriters will take turns performing an original song and providing insight into their writing process. Time should allow for four to six rounds, with a brief intermission in between.

Emma Elena Grace
Bio: Emma Elena Grace is a distinguished country folk singer-songwriter hailing from Hamilton, Ontario. With a voice that stands out from the crowd, she combines the timeless charm of classic country songwriting with the richness of a folk-infused vocal style. In 2016, she claimed the title of “Best Singer/Songwriter” at the Toronto Independent Music Awards, which came on the heels of her debut album “This Side of the Room”.
As Emma looks forward to the future, she is set to enchant listeners once again with her eagerly anticipated sophomore album “Whole Years”, slated for release in the coming year. With each note and lyric, Emma Elena Grace continues to carve a lasting legacy in the world of country and folk, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who listen.

Danielle Beaudin
Bio: Danielle Beaudin is a singer-songwriter from Hamilton, Ontario, known for her introspective songwriting and subtle, heartfelt vocals. Formerly of the band The Redhill Valleys, Danielle has returned to her roots as a solo artist, and is focused on releasing new material and sharing her evolving sound. In 2013, Danielle released her first album, Wait For Your Love, featuring the standout track “Little Bird,” which is available on YouTube and music streaming services.

Bob Dolson
Bio: Norfolk County singer/songwriter Bob Dolson has been writing all his life. With a 65-year collection of stories and a long history in Norfolk’s music scene, Bob is excited to bring some of these stories to the Homegrown Hideaway Songwriters Rounds.
Bio: Blending a foundation in roots music with a curiosity for the undiscovered, songwriter Nolan Gibson creates music that is grounded in tradition, yet embraces the present times we live in. Nolan’s eclectic voice and guitar playing allow him to blur genre lines, and his lyrics will make you smile, laugh, cry, roll your eyes, and most importantly, feel.
In his 14-year career, Nolan has had the pleasure of opening for Canadian legend David Wilcox, and torch bearers of traditional folk Ian Bell and Lotus Wight. In addition to his own career as an artist, Nolan has played a support role in a number of other musical projects, and has earned a final ballot nomination for ‘Musician of the Year’ from CMAOntario.
