Whether you are seeking a deeper connection with your spouse, your children, a parent, a sibling, friend or colleague – know that your desire for connection is driving a movement toward more sustainable communities.

Because what are communities but a whole bunch of individuals?

And if those individuals are connecting and building relationships together, this only contributes to a stronger community dedicated to one another’s highest good. The alternative is a community built on DIS-connection and if you’re here, it’s likely because you are frustrated by feeling disconnected in your relationships and communities and are seeking something more.

The good news is, there are four core elements to building deeper connection with anyone from your life partner to the next person you pass on the street.

And it all begins with your relationship and connection to yourself. These four core elements are simple, but that doesn’t mean they are always “easy” to put into practice.

That’s why Human Connection Coach, Emily Gough, has prepared an immersive and curiosity-sparking experience for you inside The Deeper Relationships Workshop:

An intimate experience with lots of space for sharing your own experiences, stories and challenges.

Because it’s one thing to understand the concepts she’ll be introducing – it’s another thing to explore how it might look to actually apply them in your life right now. So having an opportunity to share, ask questions and hear from others also on this journey to connection will be a powerful opportunity to, firstly, no longer feel alone in your experience, and secondly, feel inspired and supported as you begin to make changes in your life.

Join Emily and the Sustainable Families crew (Jess, Odessa & Caroline!) for a beautiful evening of connection, self-exploration, relationship-creation and growth.

You’ll not only be carving a path for your own life to call in more harmony and togetherness with the people in your life – with less struggle, less un-met needs, and more honesty, open communication, and compassion – but you’ll also be carving a path for your community.

And this is how sustainable people, families and communities get started.

With you.

Sustainable Families Workshop Series

‘Sustainable Families’ is a series of workshops designed to teach both practical skills and soft skills in all areas of self-sustainability. All events are designed to intentionally bring your own family together, to learn and explore together, while building community with other like-minded families on a similar path.

We are SO excited to watch as new connections are sparked, and relationships formed throughout these workshops and events.

Most of our workshops will take place at Homegrown Hideaway, a glamping retreat and event venue, nestled between the Lynn River and Lynn Valley Trail near Port Dover, Ontario. Embracing the gifts of nature, owners Caroline and Jon have cultivated a sense of wonder and a feeling of calm on their property that is so special and rare.

But keep an eye out for “Community Spotlight” events taking place in other locations around Norfolk County, too! To stay up-to-date, join our Sustainable Families email list here.
